The top five states in terms of the number of rental car companies in Maryland have a total of over 1,500 in the state.

Maryland has over 2,000 companies in the Maryland state market, according to a new report from The Washington Post.

The Washington, D.C.-based firm found that over 1.7 million people in the US rented cars in 2016, a number that has been climbing steadily for several years.

The top 10 states with the largest number of car rental companies are: Washington, DC, with 1,933; Massachusetts, with 2,934; Florida, with 3,099; California, with 4,062; Michigan, with 5,061; New Jersey, with 6,038; Illinois, with 7,096; Texas, with 8,037; Pennsylvania, with 9,064; North Carolina, with 10,071.

These states account for nearly half of the nation’s total car rental market.

Maryland is one of the few states that does not have a large car rental industry, according the Post.

This makes Maryland one of a few states where there is no large car rentals industry, but it also means that there are still many people out there renting cars.
